Rachael Kalan, LCSW
As your therapist, my intention is to create an authentic relationship where you feel safe to explore and be curious about yourself. I can help you to identify, heal and change thought patterns that are no longer working for you. Guided by your interests and goals, we will work together to remove the obstacles to your greatest potential.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College. I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, a Certified Spiritual Counselor, and an IFS, EMDR and EFT Practitioner. IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a brilliant modality for empowering your own healing potential and creating a space of compassion and acceptance for yourself. And both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) are therapy techniques that help free you from unwanted emotional patterns and clear negative beliefs.
I have been practicing for nearly fifteen years. In that time, I have worked with individuals with various issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, eating disorders, grief and loss, spiritual issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, career issues, relationship issues, phobias, and sexual abuse.
I love what I do and I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey.
